and so begins the haste that is known now as my life. I have been picked up for a job over at NYU Medical College. I am going to be working with Breast Cancer people, not sure what I will be doing with them, but I was special requested.. whoo hoo. But seriously, it is a nice thing to be asked for. I work hard and try to do my very best in everything and it seems to pay off. I am dropping some of the May CPR classes I had scheduled, so that I can have this steady bit of income, whoo hoo. I do have some rent to pay and such. Everything is going great in my life right now. I am inlove with the most amazing loving and wonderoud boyfriend ever.. and I have now in my grasp 2 awesome jobs making great money.. FDNY, and EMT on Liberty. Things are going well. My kittens are happy and healthy. I am working out on a daily, and improving my run time lil by lil. That is what I did today.. 2 mile run in about 18:30. I am in need of new sports bras, mine are seriously sucking the life out of me.. I get done with my rin and feel like I smoked a fat cigar, yuk!!! Oh well.

thats all for me now. More soon

Well, at long last i got the phone call I have been waiting a year for. The FDNY has asked me to join the team, and I start on May11th of this year. It is crazy that I started this whole process a year ago! All those trips up and down the stairs on Ellis wearing a 45lb vest paid off. Back then, I cursed the idea, each footstep with that thing felt like it would be my last, but I pushed myself harder and harder, not willing to give up. The more I did it, the more I thought my dream was possible. I am going to be super busy these next few months, being I also got accepted to work at the Park. If I can have my way, I will work both jobs, and though I will be tired as hell, I will be making a great amount of money, and will be able to get things I have hed off on getting. Mainly my green couch, and my fish tank. I ave to say I am so proud of myself for getting myself this far. I know though it couldn't have been done without my good friends to support me and guide me the whole way. From the car rides to the Headquarters, to the access to the weighted vest, to just dealing with me as I rant and rave about all the stress this was causing me. I remember doing the Psychological Exam, and wondering if my answers were going to get me in, because I told the truth. And my pictures I had to draw, lol.. that was a mess, but it was all me, not my fault I didn't inherit an artist gene. Now comes the fun part, I have to juggle my time between work work and work, and then my dwindling social life. Of course, I know I will have my D to come home to and talk with. And Allen and I will have the chance to hang out and do our bike rides. I am now really looking forward to the GWB Challenge. There is something so liberating about getting great news that puts you in the mood to SUCCEED!!!

My life has gotten more fantastic each month that passes... I look forward, never behind

Training HardCore for a Fitness Competition. Will keep you all posted as to my progress, or lack of. In other news, I have an appointment set up for my lil ones to get their surgeries. They will spend the night in NJ at the Vet's and hopefully all will be well. I am sure it will be though, it is all routine. Heading out on vacation for a week to the Poconos. Nice and relaxing, I can't wait.. but of course this will not be an excuse to get lax with my workout routine. I am working out 5 days a week, sometimes 6 days. It is important, and it will be fun to see how cut and fit I can get.. Bets anyone??

I am going to my cousins show in the city *Comic Strip Live on the 22nd.. It will be AWESOME..

More to follow!
